Minute Review: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

Liked it, but didn’t quite love it.

Having been blown away by Vicious when I first read it in 2018, I expected nothing less from VE Scwhab’s latest work, but it’s a shame it didn’t quite deliver for me.

The premise was interesting and I dare say brilliant. A three hundred year old girl who is cursed to be forgotten by anyone that comes across her path but one day she suddenly finds a man who remembers her. It should be nothing but a page turner, but I found so many parts of this book to be dragging, too elaborate, and even unnecessary. The good outweighs the bad, though, and I still had a good time reading it. It was a new reading experience and the story is one that is not easily forgotten.

Tell me what you think if you’ve read this book!

Happy reading!
