It’s Tuesday and a Top
Ten Five list is at hand! I will not be following the prompt designated by JANA of That Artsy Reader Girl for this week because I haven’t really given much thought about the libraries and bookstores I want to go to. (The prompt this week is: Top Ten Bookstores and Libraries I’d Love To Visit. You should do it!)
What I have, however, is a top five list of Romance/New Adult authors I have been hearing so many good things about, but I haven’t read from! Typical, classic Kat, not reading what’s supposed to be read! 😉
As you now, reading romance/New Adult is my guilty pleasure. But I noticed that I have only been reading from a select few (Elle Kennedy, Colleen Hoover, Erin Watt, Emma Chase), and I definitely intend to change that. So I’ve gathered some NA authors I’m hearing so many good things about but I haven’t read anything from.
I say I love NA but I haven’t read an Abbi Glines novel?! I know, even I’m calling myself a fraud! Ha ha. I guess the main reason I haven’t picked any of her work is that I’m kinda intimidated by their number. They’re legit so many! Where do I even start?
I don’t hear much about Tammara Webber, but when I do, I hear nothing but good praises for her works.
I’ve been meaning to read Krista and Becca Ritchie’s Addicted/Calloway Sisters series because one of my favorite booktubers, The Reading Wallflower, keeps on gushing how good this series is. That’s another six books to be added to my TBR but I don’t mind 😉
When it comes to good writing in the NA genre, Mariana Zapata is always the main contender. A lot has recommended her books to me primarily because she writes really well and she just could make you feel ALL THE FEELS thru her words! I’m stoked!
Another big name in the genre! Vi Keeland just has so many titles that are out in the market and almost all of them have such very good reviews. (Ugh, why haven’t I read any of her works!!) You know she’s good in her craft just with the sheer amount of her following. Now I have to up my game and be one of the thousands!
To my NA loves out there, I would love to hear recommendations from you! Who to read first? Where to start? Other NA authors I should be reading? I am getting all giddy and excited just thinking about the titles I would be reading!
