Some random 7-day read-a-thon!

So I randomly  thought of doing a read-a-thon for the next seven days (August 21-27) because of the following reasons:
  1. August 21st and August 27th are Philippine holidays and I know I won’t be doing anything during those days but read;
  2. My work load looks a little light so might as well take advantage of it; and
  3. The ultimate reason, of course: I need to catch up on my reading goal for this year! (God! I am 14 books behind schedule!)

My ultimate goal is to read at least five books for the next seven days. If you’ve been a follower of this blog for some time now, you would know that I am the slowest slow reader of them all. I can’t, for the life of me, finish a book in one sitting no matter how short it is!
Anyway, it still wouldn’t hurt to try and so for next seven days, I intend to read the following:

1. P.S. I still Love You by Jenny Han

After watching To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before in Netflix (which I looooooved!!), I felt like I need to continue with this series A-to-the-S.A.P!! 🙂 I can’t wait to know what happens between Lara Jean and Peter K. Will they really end up together? Or, I don’t know, is there gonna be a huge plot twist there? God, we have two more books here and anything can happen!

2. Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

See above explanation! Ha ha! I need more Lara Jean and Peter K in my life!

3. Duke by Default by Alysa Cole

I just recently discovered Alysa Cole’s Reluctant Royals series. I gave the first book a 4/4.5 and I can’t wait to get more of Alysa Cole’s writing! It seems like Duke by Default is a slow-burn romance and you know that I live for slooow burns! 🙂 Currently reading this now.

4. Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan

I am all for the trope in this novel! I don’t know how to call this trope, exactly, but it’s one where the girl wants to get pregnant so she goes to a sperm bank, (she doesn’t want to be in a relationship), guy volunteers just because, they promise not to fall in love, but afterwards they fall for each other. I mean. I can’t waiiiiit!! This one’s recommended by my good friend, Therese, who’s also into New Adult romance <3.

5. The Chase by Elle Kennedy

The new Elle Kennedy book is out and I can’t wait to get my hands into it! It doesn’t matter that I don’t know anything what it’s about exactly, (haven’t even read its Goodreads’ blurb and summary!), but hey it’s Elle Kennedy, and this should be read soonest!

If you’re up for some random no-name read-a-thon for the next seven days, you could join me! 🙂 Haha! This is so random I can’t stop grinning while I’m drafting this post.

Have a good reading week ahead, guys!
