It’s mid-week once more and I just couldn’t be happier! Lately, I’ve been finding myself drowning with all the work that I need to finish, and gah, so tired already! But I’m taking a little breather here and giving you guys a little update about my reading. January 2018 is soon ending and I’m quite happy with my reading progress. 🙂

My main read is City of Bones, as I’m trying to get into all of Cassandra Clare’s books this year, and I am happy to say that I am having an amaaaaazing time so far!!! The second book is The Tipping Point, which is a non-fiction. I don’t really ever reda non-fiction but I have long been seeing this is the bookstores and I’m intrigued. I think, however, that it will take me a little more time to read it because unlike fiction, it’s not as fluid to read. Enjoying it so far, though! Lastly, I kinda started reading When It Rains by Lisa De Jong, which is what I read at work when I don’t have a physical book with me. 🙂

I just finished reading Maybe in Another Life and the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, both by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and both of which I gave really really high ratings! Reading these two just bolstered my already existing adoration for TJR! I have also just recently finished Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett, which is is kinda meh for me.

I’ll be buddy reading Roomies with Bea of Confessions of a Pinay Bookaholic and Trish of Heart Via Pages on the 25th, hence it’s definitely going to be one of my next reads. City of Ashes is on the list too, since I intend to jump right into it after finishing City of Bones. And finally, I’m looking forward to reading Sex Not Love by Vi Keeland. 😉

  1. I definitely need to hop on the Taylor Jenkins Reid train! I’ve been seeing her books everywhere! Also, I’m lowkey starting to become a fan of non-fiction books so The Tipping Point sounds really good to me. 😀

I’m so excited for you to read Roomies! Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint but its a really great read. ❤
